4 easy ways to celebrate and support Children’s Hospital Week

Join us this week, March 20-27, and celebrate the Children’s Miracle Network inaugural Children’s Hospital Week #ChildrensHospitalWeek.

Tucson Medical Center has been a Children’s Miracle Network hospital since 1984. And because of your support and the support of our community through CMN we’ve raised more than $16.5 million dollars that has stayed right here in Southern Arizona to provide care for sick and injured children.

Let’s celebrate #ChildrensHospitalWeek with one of the following:

1. Grab an adhesive bandage and write the name of a child who inspires you.

Adhesive bandages aren’t just for your 4 year old who loves to cover every boo boo with them. Write the name of a child who inspires you on your adhesive bandage and wear it proudly. Perhaps it’s a child in your own family, in your neighborhood, or a child like Isaiah—who despite being born without a jaw and not being able to speak, just launched his first rap song to critical acclaim. Kids like Zion and Zhania who not only battle the effects of sickle cell disease but also bravely underwent heart transplants. Or a child like Angelica whose angelic voice is a constant reminder of the miraculous recovery that is possible thanks to care and sacrifice. Wear a bandage in honor of the 62 kids who are entering a children’s hospital for treatment every single minute, of every single day. Take a selfie with it and show your support by using #ChildrensHospitalsWeek and #TMCChild.

2. Tune in to CMN Hospitals’ Facebook Live-athon at 7 a.m. on Friday, March 24.

This two-hour live fundraiser, broadcast from Walt Disney World, will feature Miracle Kids from each U.S. state and Canada and entertainment from celebrity guests — all hosted by longtime celebrity supporter Nick Cannonand joined by Alli Simpson.
